Double sided tape is must-have tool in every FPV pilot and builder's toolbox. It can easily be cut into any size needed to hold down various components to a frame on that new build or that old build that has met a few too many trees!
Our 3M Acrylic foam tape CP5108 is a medium-density, gray acrylic foam tape with acrylic adhesives. 3M CP5108 is characterized by good peel and shear adhesion, high initial adhesion, and great all around performance for our all your drone needs!
After application, the bond strength will increase as the adhesive flows onto the surface. At room temperature approximately 50% of ultimate bond strength will be achieved after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours and 100% after 72 hours. Most surfaces are best prepared by cleaning with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and water prior to applying 3M VHB Tapes in order to achieve maximum bond.
