Back in 2016 DT broke new ground when they launched the ERC, the first truly aerodynamic wheel optimised for wider 25c tubeless tyres, but time doesn't stand still and even the best have to evolve, with a 22mm internal width and a rim profile optimised for 28-30c tyres the ERC has returned to the bleeding edge.

Born to produce the perfect high-speed wheelset for the real world of pot-holes and gusty lanes; DT's AERO+ design philosophy carefully balances handling in crosswinds with outright speed to produce the fastest possible durable all-conditions wheel.

A product of DT's continued work with JP Ballard and his team at the GST wind tunnel in Immenstaad, Germany the new ERC rim profile offers the best possible mix of stability and speed, a hooked, 22mm wide design allows easy tubeless installation and opens up a huge range of tyre options.

The ERC 1400's feature DT's 240 36-tooth Ratchet EXP hubs with DT's renowned sealed bearings, a superb mix of lightweight, stiffness, durability and ease of servicing.

The Dicut wheel line offers the perfect combination of aerodynamics, technology and design. The Dicut axles feature a grippy geometry and the spokes provide maximum stiffness and traction. The braking surface is adhered by means of a heat-resistant resin.

Tubeless
The Tubeless Ready rims in the DT Swiss range offer additional advantages over traditional rims. Their cross-section design allows the tyre to bead more easily during inflation, even with a standard floor pump. The elaborate profile of the DT Swiss rims also guarantees a precise and secure fit of the tyre even during aggressive riding.
